Taboulli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. cracked wheat
    1/4 c. canola oil
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. fresh, chopped parsley
    1/2 c. chopped green onions
    2 tomatoes, chopped
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 medium cucumber, chopped
    1 c. chopped, cooked beef
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over cracked wheat in bowl.
    Let stand for 1 hour. Drain well into colander.
    Return to bowl.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Chill for 2 hours or longer.
    Serve on lettuce-lined salad plates.
    Yield: 4 servings.
