Sonia'S Muddy Hens - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs (save 1 white)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg white, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Cream butter and add white sugar.
    Add eggs and mix well.
    Add dry ingredients and mix.
    Add vanilla and blend.
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle nuts over top.
    Cover with topping made by beaten egg white and brown sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until brown.
    Serve while warm.
