Apricot Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped, dried apricots
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. white sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 beaten egg
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Pour boiling water over chopped apricots and soda.
Let stand until cool.
Cream sugar and butter.
Add beaten egg.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add apricot mixture and nuts.
Mix and bake in greased bread tins.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
Baking time will depend on the size tin used.
