Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. hot water
2 Tbsp. or 2 pkg. dry yeast
3 c. warm water
6 c. white flour
1 c. dark brown sugar or 1/2 c. molasses and 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. warm water plus 2 Tbsp. honey
4 tsp. salt
6 c. whole wheat flour
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl stir and let stand the 1 cup water and the brown sugar or molasses and honey.
In a small bowl sprinkle the yeast over the 1 cup warm water and the 2 tablespoons of honey. Add to the first mixture and beat well the 3 cups warm water, salt, white flour and the yeast mixture.
Stir in, then knead on floured surface, whole wheat flour and (optional) 1 cup cracked wheat. Cover, then let rise in a warm place until double in size.
Punch down.
Shape into loaves and place in greased bread pans.
Let rise until double.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Yields 6 loaves.
