Fry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. buttermilk
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 large egg
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    5 to 6 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    vegetable oil for frying
Preparation
    In small saucepan, heat buttermilk until bubbles form at edge of pan.
    Set aside to cool.
    When buttermilk has cooled, stir in egg, oil, sugar and yeast until well combined.
    Set aside 5 minutes for yeast to soften.
