Soft Pumpkin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. solid-packed pumpkin
    1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine, softened
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 large eggs
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1/2 c. nuts or raisins
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugars.
    Add pumpkin and vanilla.
    Sift together dry ingredients. Mix well.
    Add nuts or raisins.
    Stir well.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Drop by tablespoons 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet (I use Pam).
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
    Store in a tightly covered container.
    Use in 3 days or freeze.
    Makes 5 dozen.
