Red Velvet Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    coconut (optional)
Preparation
    Cook together flour and milk.
    It will be like pudding.
    Cover with wax paper and let cool completely.
    In mixing bowl mix Crisco and butter.
    Cream this together.
    Add sugar and vanilla and the pudding mixture.
    Beat until creamy, so that you can't feel the sugar granules.
    Ice the cake and if desired, sprinkle with flaked coconut.
