Stuffed Peppers To Can - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head cabbage
1 1/2 tsp. salt
whole peppers
1 1/4 c. vinegar
3 1/4 c. water
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. oil of spice (mixed spices) or about 1/8 tsp. each of the following: nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves
Preparation

Shred cabbage and add salt.
Let stand until cabbage has wilted a bit.
Stuff cabbage into cored, whole peppers.
Put peppers as upright as possible into jars.
Mix remaining ingredients together and add to peppers.
Seal and cold pack for 15 minutes.
Makes about 3 quarts.
