Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry chicken noodle soup
    3 c. water
    2/3 c. regular rice, uncooked
    1 lb. sausage
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
    1 small jar pimento
Preparation
    Mix water and soup mix, bring to a boil for 7 minutes.
    Add rice and cook 7 minutes more.
    Add cream of mushroom soup.
    In skillet, brown sausage and drain.
    Stir in onion, pepper and celery; cook until onions are tender.
    Add meat mixture to rice mixture.
    Stir in water chestnuts.
    Pour into buttered 2-quart casserole.
    Spread pimento over top.
    Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
