Foolproof Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1/2 c. boiling water
    3 egg whites
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    vanilla
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Blend cold water and cornstarch.
    Add to boiling water and cook until clear and thick.
    Remove from heat.
    Beat egg whites until foamy.
    Add sugar gradually.
    Beat until stiff, not dry. Add cornstarch mixture.
    Beat at high speed until thick; spread on pie.
    Bring meringue all the way to edges of crust.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
