Baked Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 oz. spaghetti, break into 2-inch pieces and cook according to pkg. directions
    2 tsp. margarine
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    16 oz. small curd cottage cheese
    1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 qt. spaghetti sauce (Prego or Ragu)
    12 oz. grated Mozzarella cheese
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    In greased 9 x 13-inch pan, combine spaghetti, margarine, salt, pepper, egg and Parmesan cheese.
    Layer cottage cheese on top. Combine ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic and layer over cottage cheese.
    Add 1 teaspoon sugar to spaghetti sauce and pour over ground beef layer.
    Top with grated Mozzarella cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10.
