Baked Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    1 qt. milk
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat milk.
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Add sugar and salt.
    Add hot milk slowly.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into a Pyrex casserole (1-quart). Set in pan of cold water.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    (Pour through a strainer.)
