Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 pkg. quick rising yeast or 7 1/2 tsp. bulk yeast
    3 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. wheat germ
    1/4 c. wheat bran
    1 Tbsp. molasses
    3 Tbsp. soft shortening
    4 c. whole wheat flour
    4 1/2 to 5 c. white flour
    3 1/2 c. warm water
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine and mix 4 cups whole wheat flour, 2 cups white flour, wheat bran, wheat germ, brown sugar, salt, granulated sugar and quick rising yeast.
    Add molasses, shortening and water.
    Mix and beat well.
    Add additional flour as needed. Continue to mix well.
    Turn out onto lightly floured surface and knead until smooth.
