Strawberry Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 heaping c. strawberries
    6 level c. sugar
    juice of 1 lemon or 1/4 c. ReaLemon juice
Preparation
    Combine berries, sugar and lemon juice in a 6-quart aluminum cooker.
    Place over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
    Cook for 15 minutes on high or at a temperature at which preserves can't be stirred down.
    Cool and ladle into jars.
    Preserves freeze well, too.
