Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. ground pork
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    2 small onions, minced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 c. cooked rice
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
Preparation
    Gently pull off 8 large cabbage leaves from the head.
    Simmer in 1-inch boiling water, covered, for 5 minutes.
    Drain and lay out for filling.
