Busy-Day Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) chicken
    3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Rinse chicken.
    Cook in water to cover in saucepan until tender.
    Bone and chop chicken; reserve 1 1/2 cups chicken broth. Combine chicken, reserved broth, eggs and pepper in bowl; mix well.
    Combine flour and milk in small bowl; mix to form dough. Roll on floured surface to fit 3-quart baking dish.
    Place in dish.
    Dot with butter.
    Spoon chicken mixture into pastry.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
