Pumpkin Or Squash Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. pumpkin or squash (cooked)
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 slightly beaten eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. cream or evaporated milk
    unbaked pastry shell
    sweetened whipped cream
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients.
    Then add the rest.
    Mix well.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 for about 10 minutes, then reduce heat to moderate 325\u00b0 about 40 minutes or until filling is firm.
    Serve plain or with sweetened whipped cream.
