Apricot Fried Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dried apricots
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. shortening
2 c. self-rising flour
2/3 c. ice water
oil for frying
Preparation

Cook diced apricots with sugar and enough water to cover apricots until tender; add cinnamon and set aside.
Make dough by cutting shortening into flour; add ice water until well mixed. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rest for 30 minutes.
