Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. melted butter
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 pt. oil
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
Cream eggs, sugar and butter.
Add milk and nutmeg; mix well.
Add to flour mixture.
Beat thoroughly until well blended.
Cover and set aside for 15 minutes.
Drop by tablespoon into hot oil.
Fry for one minute (or until golden brown).
Remove with perforated spoon. Drain.
Roll while warm in 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon mix.
