Perfect Corn Bread - cooking recipe

1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. corn meal
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/4 c. margarine, melted
Preparation

Sift together flour, sugar and baking powder.
Stir in corn meal.
Add eggs, milk and margarine.
Beat until smooth, but do not overbeat.
Pour batter into greased 9-inch pan or iron skillet.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
