Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. cornmeal
    1 Tbsp. margarine, softened
    3 eggs, separated
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    margarine or butter
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Stir boiling water into cornmeal; continue stirring until mixture is lukewarm.
    Blend 1 tablespoon margarine and egg yolks.
    Stir in buttermilk, salt, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
    Beat egg whites until soft peaks form; fold into batter.
    Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
    Bake until knife inserted near center comes out clean, 45 to 50 minutes.
    Serve with margarine.
