Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. Crisco
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. hot water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. oatmeal

Preparation

Sift, then measure flour.
Sift again with soda and salt. Cream Crisco and sugar; add the dry ingredients alternately with hot water.
Add oatmeal.
