Macadamia Nut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/3 c. flour
    2 c. milk, scalded
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, separated
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped Macadamia nuts
    1 baked 8-inch pie shell
    1/4 c. granulated sugar
    pinch of salt
    3/4 c. dark molasses
    3/4 c. hot water
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 pastry crust
Preparation
    Mix molasses with hot water, blending well.
    Mix flour, sugar and
    soda.
    Cut
    in
    butter to form coarse crumbs.
    Line pie dish with
    pastry.
    Pour in 1/3 of molasses mixture.
    Top with
    crumb mixture.
    Repeat,
    adding
    alternate
    layers with crumbs on top. Bake for 35 minutes at 375\u00b0.
