Creamed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. shredded cabbage
    1/4 c. minced onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 oz. cream cheese, softened and in bits
    2 Tbsp. snipped dill
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In large saucepan, blanche cabbage in boiling, salted water 3 minutes.
    Drain and refresh cabbage under cold, running water; drain well.
    In saucepan, saute onion in butter until it's soft; add cabbage and toss mixture well.
    Add cream cheese; cook over low heat, stirring until cheese is melted.
    Add dill, salt and pepper.
    Simmer 3 minutes.
