Peanut Butter Crisscrosses - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. granulated sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. sifted enriched flour
2 tsp. soda
dash of salt
Preparation

Thoroughly cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Stir in peanut butter.
Sift dry ingredients, stir into creamed mixture. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
Press with back of floured fork to make crisscrosses.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
