Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix, baked as directed on box
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    4 sliced bananas
    1 large container nondairy whipped topping
    2 (4 serving size) pkg. instant vanilla pudding, prepared as directed on box
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 can coconut
    1 jar chopped maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Crumble half of baked and cooled cake in punch bowl.
    Top with half of the pie filling, half of the pudding, half of the pineapple, half of the bananas and half of the nondairy whipped topping.
    Repeat layers using remaining half of each ingredient. Garnish with coconut, pecans and cherries.
