Sand Tart Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. soda
4 or 4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Beat butter and sugar together; add eggs.
Beat well.
Add vanilla, salt, soda and flour.
Chill dough.
Roll out very thin. Cut with cookie cutters.
Brush top with milk.
Sprinkle with colored sugar or cinnamon sugar or sprinkles.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
