Southwest Cornbread Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (6 oz.) pkg. cornbread mix
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. green pepper (optional)
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 c. butter or margarine
chicken or turkey giblets
3 slices bread
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth (more for consistency)
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cook hen and keep broth.
After hen cools, cut into small pieces.
Place these pieces on bottom of well-buttered 9 x 12-inch Pyrex.
