Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. lard
    1 c. syrup
    1/2 c. water
    flour
    1 level tsp. black pepper and ginger (or you can leave the pepper out and use 2 tsp. ginger)
    1 level Tbsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together working dough well.
    Add enough flour to make the consistency of biscuit dough.
    Roll out and cut putting on a hot pan.
    Bake until lightly brown in a 350\u00b0 oven.
