Pumpkin Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 Tbsp. flour
1 can chicken broth
2 c. milk (evaporated is richer)
1 c. sour cream (add after heat is off)
1/2 lb. onions, sliced
2 c. pumpkin
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
dash of nutmeg
Preparation

Saute onion in butter until tan.
Add flour to skillet, then process in food processor.
Add chicken broth and pumpkin; puree. Add seasonings.
Heat to boil.
Stir; will stick.
Reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes.
If too thick add milk while simmering, or add at the end of simmer time.
Remove from burner.
Add sour cream. Serves 4.
