Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
4 tsp. milk
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream together shortening and sugar.
Blend in the egg until fluffy.
Stir in milk.
Add dry ingredients to sugar mixture. Stir in vanilla.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 to 8 minutes.
