Broccoli-Ham Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 (11 oz.) can Cheddar cheese soup (undiluted)
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. sharp cheese roll, sliced
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
    3 c. cooked rice
    2 c. diced, cooked ham
    1 (2 oz.) jar pimientos, drained
    1 (2.8 oz.) can fried onion rings
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter or margarine in a Dutch oven until tender.
    Add soup, cheese and garlic powder.
    Stir until cheese melts.
    Add mushrooms and next three ingredients.
    Gently stir in pimientos.
    Spoon into a lightly greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Cover and chill in refrigerator 8 hours.
