Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, chopped
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    salt to taste
    5 c. chicken broth
    5 medium potatoes, cubed
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Remove bacon.
    Drain and crumble. Add onion to bacon drippings and cook until tender.
    Stir in flour.
    Add seasonings and broth.
    Bring to a boil and add potatoes.
    Cook until potatoes are tender.
    Remove bay leaf. Serve while hot.
    Serves 8 to 10.
