Midnight Mystique - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour (all-purpose)
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. cocoa
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 c. strong black coffee or 2 tsp. instant coffee with 1 c. boiling water
    1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour two (9 x 1 1/2-inch) round pans or a 13 x 9 x 2-inch rectangular pan.
    In large bowl, blend flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
    Add eggs, coffee, buttermilk, oil and vanilla and beat well for at least 2 minutes.
    (The batter will be thin.)
    Pour batter into pan(s) and bake 30 to 40 minutes or until a wooden pick comes out clean when inserted in center of cake.
    Cool for 10 minutes, then remove the cake from the pan.
    Cool completely and frost.
    Makes 10 to 12 servings.
