Black Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. dry black beans
    1 to 2 bay leaves
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 heaping tsp. cumin
    3/4 to 1 small onion
    1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 1/2 tsp. soy sauce or to taste
    1 c. salsa
    1/3 c. chopped cilantro
    1 small jar chopped pimientos or equivalent red pepper
    1 can white Shoe Peg corn
Preparation
    Soak beans for 8 hours; simmer with bay leaves until tender, drain and rinse.
    Stir all ingredients together except corn; stir in corn 1 hour prior to serving.
