Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 medium bananas
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and beat well.
Mash bananas and beat in mixture.
Sift dry ingredients.
Add and mix well.
Stir in nuts.
Pour into large greased and floured loaf pan.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
May be baked in 2 small loaf pans.
