Raisin Spice Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. cooked raisin juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour (white bread flour)
2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in a little warm water
3 c. raisins
Preparation

First boil 3 cups raisins in 2 cups of water.
Drain juice off raisins and let juice cool.
(This is the liquid you use in the cake.)
Combine ingredients and pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Makes a large cake.
