Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large baking apples
    3/4 c. raisins
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/3 c. corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    1 tsp. rum flavoring
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Core the apples and pare a strip on top of each.
    Place in
    a 10\tx 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
    Fill apples with 3/4 cup raisins.
    Combine
    granulated
    sugar,
    brown
    sugar, corn syrup, water and oleo.
    Bring to a boil and add rum flavoring. Pour
    hot syrup
    over and around apples.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour.
    Baste occasionally.
