Irish Soda Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 Tbsp. caraway seed
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cut shortening into dry ingredients.
    Alternate buttermilk with dry ingredients.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 or 60 minutes in 10-inch iron skillet or 2-quart Pyrex dish.
