Linda'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. sifted flour
    1/2 pt. cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.
    Add flour and cream alternately. Add flavoring.
    Place in cold oven and bake in greased and paper lined 9-inch tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
    Let cool on rack a few minutes. Turn out to finish cooling. Serves 24.
