Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies
    1 (16 oz.) can creamed corn
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 tsp. bacon onion seasoning
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sifted yellow corn meal
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Add chilies, corn, cheese, and bacon onion seasonings; blend well.
    Sift together flour, corn meal and baking powder.
    Add to corn mixture, blend well.
    Pour into greased and floured 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish; preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Reduce oven to 300\u00b0 when ready to cook corn bread.
    Bake for 1 hour. Makes 12 squares (3 x 2 1/2-inch.
