Yellow Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. salad oil or chicken fat
    5 egg yolks
    3/4 c. cold water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. egg whites
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Mix oil, yolks, water and vanilla together.
    Add to dry mixture; beat with spoon until smooth.
    Put egg whites and cream of tartar in bowl. Beat until stiff.
    Pour 2 mixtures together gradually folding gently until blended.
    Bake in ungreased pan.
