Blueberry Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. blueberries
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and egg together.
    Mix and sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Reserve 1/4 cup to flour blueberries. Add the remainder alternately with milk to the first mixture. Beat thoroughly.
    Stir in berries.
    Pour into a greased shallow pan and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Cut in squares and serve hot.
