Miss Florence'S Cake(Served At Brownsville For Tea) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large c. butter, creamed with 3 c. sugar added
    6 egg yolks
    6 egg whites, beaten stiff
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Add alternating wet and dry ingredients to butter and sugar mixture and egg yolks.
    Beat well when all ingredients are mixed. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
    Bake in tube pan, buttered well to make a large delectable cake.
