Cheese Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 to 5 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 pkg. dry yeast
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 c. coarsely shredded Cheddar cheese
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Mix 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, yeast, buttermilk, water and margarine in saucepan until liquids are very warm (120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0).
Slowly add to dry ingredients; beat 2 minutes.
Stir in cheese and enough flour to make a stiff dough. Place in greased bake sheet.
Knead 7 to 10 minutes.
Cover; let rise in warm place until doubled, 1 hour or more.
Mix egg and milk; brush over loaves.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
