Fresh Apple Crunch Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. each: nutmeg, cinnamon and baking soda
    1/4 c. oil
    2 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. sliced fresh apples
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. brandy (don't use whiskey)
Preparation
    Sift together the flour, spices and soda.
    Mix oil, eggs and sugar; mix well.
    Add apples, brandy, nuts and vanilla; mix well. Mixture will be stiff.
    Spread in lightly greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Rich cake; do not frost. Crust is crunchy like cookie.
    Inside is moist and chewy.
