Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 tsp. garlic
    1 tsp. water
    1 Tbsp. salad oil
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes, cut small (32 oz.)
    1/4 c. tomato paste
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    16 oz. kidney beans
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 tsp. cumin seed
Preparation
    Soften garlic in water.
    Add oil and saute 1 to 2 minutes. Add hamburger and cook until meat browns slightly.
    Add chili powder, salt, cumin seed, tomatoes and beans.
    Start boiling, stirring often, 25 minutes.
    Add tomato paste and sugar.
    Let simmer 15 minutes.
