Batter Way Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/4 c. soft shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 egg
    4 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Put water in large bowl; add yeast.
    Let stand a few minutes. Stir.
    Add shortening, salt, sugar, egg and half of flour.
    Beat 1 minute.
    Add rest of flour.
    Set in warm place.
    Let rise about 30 minutes.
    Grease 1 1/2 dozen muffin pans.
    Fill 1/2 full.
    Let rise to top.
    Bake in hot oven.
