Dottie'S Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Mix
    together, roll thin and cut in 1-inch wide strips. Drop in
    boiling broth.
    Add a little pepper.
    Cover and watch as it will boil over.
    After a few minutes, turn heat down and cook until tender (about 15 minutes).
    Recipe may be doubled. Can add 1/2 cup milk just before turning heat off.
