Self-Filled Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    dash of salt
    1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix and fill paper-lined muffin pans 2/3 full. Combine cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
    Add egg and salt, beating well.
    Stir in chocolate chips.
    Spoon 1 heaping teaspoonful into center of each cupcake.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Cool in pan 10 minutes, then cool on a wire rack.
    Makes 2 1/2 dozen, approximately.
